Through our company’s continued growth and desire to better serve our customers, we are currently seeking a Spotter Truck Diesel Service Technician to join our team in Stewartville, MN. This position is essential to our business and will perform repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform repairs and maintenance on all components of Spotter Trucks
- Perform inspections, troubleshoot, and diagnose issues on customer equipment
- Collaborate with internal team members including service writers, parts representatives, drivers, and leadership team
- Communicate effectively with customers and maintain a positive relationship
- Perform work in a timely manner to meet efficiency goals
- Maintain paperwork and submit upon completion of work
- Complete training and meet requirements for certifications
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Diesel engine experience
- Exhibit a strong mechanic aptitude
- High school diploma or GED
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaborate with others
- Ability to work with computers
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION
Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications and education (but they are not required)
- Technical degree or certification
- Experience working with diesel engines is a plus
Individuals with backgrounds working as automotive technicians, heavy equipment mechanics, and more may also be successful in this position.
