SUMMARY:
The Outside Parts Sales Representative is responsible for interacting with customers in person, over the phone, and/or email, and social media. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive account specific growth strategies.
Essential Functions:
• Selling aftermarket items including but not limited to Thermo King parts, trailer parts, and spotter parts.
• Prospect for new accounts/referrals which includes compiling and updating list of prospective customers in all aftermarket parts sectors.
• Take parts orders, print invoices and make sure payment is up to date.
• Deliver and return parts when available and makes sense with daily routes.
• Plan territory coverage and call upon key accounts (current and prospective) regularly.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
• Transportation refrigeration product knowledge is a plus
• Previous parts and service sales experience
SKILLS:
• Basic computer skills
• Exceptional telephone etiquette skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills
ABILITIES:
• Apply good judgment in recognizing scope of authority
• Able to read and interpret billing statements and work orders
• Communicate clearly and effectively
WORKING CONDITIONS:
• This job operates in a parts store/repair shop environment.
• This job requires daily travel to customers location.
