CDL Driver/ Delivery Driver

Summary:
Under direct supervision, the Driver makes deliveries daily, processes paperwork necessary for recording deliveries and pick-ups, and cleans equipment when needed.

Knowledge:
Under direct supervision, the Driver makes deliveries daily, processes paperwork necessary for recording deliveries and pick-ups, and cleans equipment when needed.
Essential Functions:

- Delivers and picks up trailers as needed
- Takes care of equipment during transit and ensures zero damage
- Processes paperwork necessary for recording deliveries/pick ups
- Cleans equipment before it goes into the shop and while it is on the lot
- Performs general maintenance of equipment lot (i.e. snow removal)
- Keeps the lot organized
- Assists with shop and office cleanup as needed
- Maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor towards customers
- Runs parts as needed
- Organizes and maintains inventory and specific tool areas
- Maintains high productivity workflow levels in and out of the shop
- Maintains grounds and building appearance at high satisfaction levels
- Assists with rental deliveries and returns
- Other duties as assigned

Knowledge:
- Requires a high school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Apply good judgment in recognizing scope of authority
- Punctual and make no delays in deliveries
- Must be able to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to deal with issues while maintaining a high level of customer service
- Prepared to work in any traffic, weather, and timing according to the Company’s business needs
- Must have a class A-CDL driver's license with a med card
