essential functions:

  1. Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair of refrigeration units and auxiliary power units
  2. Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify all components
  3. Positively interface with Service Writers, leadership team, the parts department, drivers, vendors, and customers
  4. Keep paperwork updated and submitted upon completion
  5. Communicate effectively with customers
  6. Maintain a high level of cleanliness
  7. Meet and maintain labor efficiency goals
  8. Meet requirements for certifications

knowledge, education and/or experience:

  1. Requires a high school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
  2. Diesel engine experience
  3. Technical degree or certification is a plus

  1. Written and verbal communication skills
  2. Microsoft Office skills

abilities:

  1. Work with diagnostic computers for troubleshooting and repairs
  2. Use computers for web-based training and work order system
  3. Work independently in a field service environment while displaying a professional and confident relationship with the customer
  4. Exhibit a strong mechanical aptitude
  5. Possess a clean driving record
  6. Pass a DOT approved physical

working conditions:

  1. Exposure to varying weather-related temperatures (both inside and outside)
